About Me_

First off - if you made it this far, thank you!

My name is Ann Marie, and I've been a Product Designer at Wells Fargo for a year and some change. Prior to this role, I worked at a UX agency called Futuresight - at both companies, I've mainly worked on B2B and enterprise websites + web applications.

I thrive in roles where I get to be a generalist wearing many hats, and in my 2 years in UX I've done just that, including lo- to hi-fidelity mockups, user flows + journey mapping, user interviews, and ADA/WCAG compliance.

Through these experiences, I've learned to navigate complex landscapes of stakeholder interests, technical constraints, and red tape so our teams can put great products in front of our users. I've also learned to problem solve quickly, turning complicated user needs into simplified, intuitive digital experiences.

For more info on my background, check out my resume on the left or keep reading below. And again - thank you so much for taking the time to review my portfolio.

Why UX_

Good designers have a high level understanding of 3 things: the technical stack at hand, the users' contexts and needs, and internal stakeholders' interests. I love the challenge of quickly familiarizing myself with these factors to design great products.

My next goal_

I'm currently studying for the Google Digital Cloud Leader certification - our team is leading a transformation iniative, migrating legacy applications to the cloud, so it is relevant to my role.

Extracurriculars_

Public speaking has always been a skill I wanted to improve upon, which is why I joined the Wells Fargo Toastmaster's chapter. I currently serve on our chapter's steering committee as VP of Public Relations.

For fun I like to_

In my free time I'm often hanging out with my partner, friends, or my cat Giovanni! I also love to paint, draw, and make digital art - some of which I've shared in this portfolio :)
